SYMPTOMS

When printing a slide that contains a Microsoft Excel table, the text may appear to be shifted upwards on the printed copy, even though this shift is not evident on the screen.

CAUSE

This shift is caused by the Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet 4 series printer drivers that ship with Microsoft Windows 95.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use the LaserJet III driver and select the Print TrueType As Graphics option.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
