SYMPTOMS
When you create a data map in Microsoft Excel and you use the text string
"aus" (without the quotation marks) for geographical data, you may receive
the following error messages:
DATAMAP caused an invalid page fault in module MITMDL32.DLL at
0137:1000b33f
EXCEL caused an invalid page fault in module USER.EXE at 0007:00007938
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem
and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Excel for Windows
95, version 7.0. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Excel for Windows
95, version 7.0a.
MORE INFORMATION
You may receive this error if you try to create a map with just one row of
information and your geographic data is the string "aus" (without the
quotation marks).
