Works 95: Communication Connection Settings Buttons Do Not Work

To change the Connection Settings, do the following:

1. On the Settings menu, click Modem.
2. In the Modems dialog box, click your modem and click Properties.
3. In the Modems Properties dialog, click the Connection tab.
4. In the Connection Preferences section, change the Data Bits, Parity, and Stop Bits to the settings you desire.
5. Click OK, then click Close.

Your connection properties will now reflect the settings you specified in step 4. The Toolbar buttons will not reflect those changes.

Regardless of whether or not you save the file, the modem settings will not be affected by either Toolbar button.
