PRJ: Using Format/Bar May Cause Bad Formatting to Appear

SYMPTOMS

When you custom format a selection of task bars in Microsoft Project, not selecting a Start or End shape may cause incorrect formatting to appear on the ends of the task bars.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, follow the steps below for each taskbar that has bad Start and End shapes:

  1. Double-click the bar for the task that is not correct.
  2. Re-select the Start shape and End shapes that you want this bar to have, and then click OK.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the versions of Microsoft Project listed above.

This problem was corrected in Microsoft Project for Windows 95 version 4.1a.
