PPT97: Imported EPS Graphics Have Poor Print, Display Quality

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to import a Macintosh file containing Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) graphics, the graphics may be printed incorrectly or the quality of the graphics may be poor.

CAUSE

The PostScript code is either stripped from the file or ignored.

RESOLUTION

To correct this problem, obtain Microsoft PowerPoint 97 Service Release 2 (SR-2).

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Office 97 Service Release 2 (SR-2).
