SYMPTOMS

When you close messages after you append the message text to the same file saved in Rich Text Format, you will get the following error message:
Do you want to save changes to this item?

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft Exchange version 4.0 Windows, Windows NT, and Windows 95 clients. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
