SYMPTOMS
On constructing a delivery report (DR) for a message that originally
contained the DeferredDeliveryTime field, Microsoft Exchange Server does
not conform to the CCITT' s 1984 X series of recommendations. This only
applies to connections using a 1984 X.400 Connector.
CAUSE
Microsoft Exchange Server echoes the DeferredDeliveryTime value of the
original message within the DR' s DeliveryReportEnvelope.
WORKAROUND
If the foreign messaging system allows it, configure it in a way that it
does not need to use the DeferredDeliveryTime within the X.400 P1 (Message
Transfer Protocol) fields.
STATUS

version 4.0. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. Service
Pack for Microsoft Exchange Server version 4.0. For information on
