SUMMARY

When you apply bullets to a paragraph in a Word Processing document, the bullets appear as italic, bold, underlined or strikethrough. When you set a default font in Works, the attributes of the default font are applied to all bullets in the document.

MORE INFORMATION

The only way to change the attributes of the bullets is to change the default font in Works.

For example, if you set the default font to 14 point Arial, underline italic, all bullets in the document will be underlined and in italics.

If you highlight a bulleted paragraph and remove the underlined and italic formatting, the bullets will not change with the rest of the paragraph.

To change the default font, use the appropriate method for your version of Works.

Works 4.x

  1. On the Format menu, click Font And Style.
  2. Select the preferred font and style and click Set Default.
NOTE: The bullets will take on the new default font attributes; however the new default font will not take effect for text until a new document is created.

Works 2000

  1. On the Format menu, click Font And Style.
  2. Select the preferred font and style, and then click OK.
NOTE: You need to repeat these steps to restore the original settings.
