SYMPTOMS

When you create a chart in Microsoft Works on a computer running Microsoft Windows NT version 3.51, the last character in the vertical (Y) axis title may be cut off or missing, but will print correctly.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

The vertical axis title will display correctly if you add an extra space to the end of the title.

To modify the Y axis title do the following:

Click Titles on the Edit menu.
In the Vertical Axis text box, add a space to the end of the title and click OK.
