Mac Fine Artist: Error Type 11 Accessing Control Room

SYMPTOMS

When you try to go to the Fine Artist Control Room using the COMMAND+SHIFT+A shortcut key combination, you receive an Error Type 11 message.

This problem occurs primarily on Power Macintosh or Performa computers running Macintosh Operating System 7.5, but may occur with other configurations.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, contact Microsoft Product Support Services to obtain Fine Artist for the Macintosh, version 1.10b.

NOTE: Occasionally this problem can be corrected if you turn off all extensions and remove the MSKids Preferences file.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Fine Artist version 1.10 for the Macintosh. This problem was corrected in Fine Artist for the Macintosh, version 1.10b.

This problem does not occur with Fine Artist version 1.0 for the Macintosh, Creative Writer version 1.10 for the Macintosh, or Creative Writer/Fine Artist for Windows/Macintosh, versions 1.10a and 1.10c.
