SYMPTOMS

When you start the Microsoft Exchange client for Windows NT after installing the Microsoft Natural Keyboard 1.0 software, you may receive the following error:

Microsoft Exchange has detected an incompatible version of CTL3D32.DLL. Some things may not work correctly. Please contact your system administrator.

CAUSE

This error occurs because another application has replaced the CTL3D32.DLL with an older copy of this file.

RESOLUTION

To correct the problem, you can re-install the Microsoft Exchange client or copy the CTL3D32.DLL from the client-shared installation point to the Windows\System32 directory.
