SYMPTOMS
When you use the Exchange X.400 connector as a gateway, messages are
rejected and the following message appears:
The "originator name" sequence is invalid: no domain is specified,
but only the "DDA" field of the sender.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because Exchange cannot map the PC Mail user to a valid
X.400 address.
RESOLUTION
To work around this problem, create a complete X.400 address for the PC
Mail user. To do this, do one of the following:
- Create a custom recipient for the PC Mail account on the Exchange
server
-or-
- Implement Directory Synchronization on the Exchange server.
