V-Chat Environment Installation Cannot Find File Specified

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to install a V-Chat environment on MSN, The Microsoft Network, you may receive the following error message: 

  C:\progra~1\themic~1\Custom Applications\MCAST_BB.exe/i 71246:arches.inf
  The system cannot find the file specified

  MSN Custom Application Loader&Launcher
  Error! Unable to launch Program/Setup

CAUSE

The Mcast_bb.exe file is not installed and registered properly. This file is used to set up V-Chat environments for the first time.

RESOLUTION

A fix for this problem is located in the V-Chat forum on MSN (the Go word is "v-chat"). See the V-Chat Frequently Asked Questions document or the First Time User Guide for a shortcut to the fix.
