SYMPTOMS

When you change views in Encarta for the Macintosh, from Main to Main Outline, the window may not update correctly. The image may double or truncate.

CAUSE

When changing views, Encarta does not update the location of the video properly to reflect the new position of items in the window. As a result, the video doubles or truncates.

RESOLUTION

There is no resolution to this problem.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Encarta 1995 and Encarta Encyclopedia 1996 editions for the Macintosh.

This problem has been corrected in the Encarta Encyclopedia for the Macintosh 1997 edition.
