XCON: Connecting Exchange Servers in Non-Trusted Domains

    Article ID: Q148285
    Creation Date: 07-MAR-1996
    Revision Date: 25-JUL-1996

The information in this article applies to:

    • Microsoft Exchange Server, version 4.0

When a Microsoft Exchange Server Site Connector is installed between two non-trusting Microsoft Windows NT Domains, use the Override property page to specify the name of the remote domain and the name of the service account that the remote Exchange Server uses. This will avoid any permissions-related problems between the two Exchange message transfer agents (MTAs).
