The DBLOCK.EXE file contains all the files necessary to install the DBLock utility. Place the DBLOCK.EXE file in its own directory, and then extract the files by running DBLOCK.EXE. The DBLOCK utility is used to determine what types of locks the Microsoft Jet database engine is placing, what page types are being locked, and what tables are associated with those pages. DBLOCK is a Visual Basic for Applications 4.0, 32-bit utility that will run under either Windows NT or Windows 95 and will work against both Jet Database Engine versions 2.x and 3.0 databases.
