SYMPTOMS
When you try to dismiss recurring reminders in Microsoft Outlook, you may
continue getting reminder messages about the same appointment and cannot
dismiss the reminders.
RESOLUTION
A supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft,
but has not been fully regression-tested and should be applied only to
systems experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely
affected by this specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for
the next release of Microsoft Outlook.

WORKAROUND
Close Outlook, view and delete the calendar entries using the Microsoft Exchange client, close the Exchange client, and then restart Outlook.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article.
MORE INFORMATION
This condition may exist after moving user mailboxes from one server in the
site to another, using Move Mailbox. The above problem can also be seen
without using Move User. In order to apply this fix, each client machine
experiencing the above problem needs the updated Outllib.dll file.
