CTRL+BREAK Does Not Work for 16-Bit Applications

SYMPTOMS

The CTRL+BREAK key combination doesn't work as expected for any 16-bit application running in a Virtual DOS Machine(VDM). This problem only occurs with Windows NT 3.51.

RESOLUTION

To correct this problem, apply the fix mentioned below.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.51. This problem was corrected in the latest Windows NT 3.51 U.S. Service Pack. For information on obtaining the Service Pack, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
