BUG: Camera Cone Can Point Away from the Actual Camera View |

The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen the camera is constrained to a null or to any object, the camera cone can be found to be pointing away from the actual camera view.
CAUSEIf the up vector of a camera is constrained to a null (or is constrained to any other object) there are times when the up vector faces in the opposite direction to the null to which it is supposed to be constrained. This usually occurs at 90 degrees, 180 degrees, or 270 degrees. As a result, it can occur that the camera cone points in the opposite direction to the actual camera view.
STATUSSoftimage has confirmed this to be a bug in the Softimage product listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available. NOTE: Softimage Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Microsoft Corporation.
