TMGR: No Alerts When Pasting Into Non-Editable Cells

SYMPTOMS
When you try to paste data into a non-editable cell, the paste fails,
but no message is displayed explaining that the cell is non-editable.
STATUS
This behavior is by design.
MORE INFORMATION
Examples of non-editable fields in a task table include Start, Finish,
%Complete, and Actual Work. Non-editable fields are displayed with a shaded
background as a visual clue. These fields are calculated automatically from
other field values. For example, the Actual Work in the Task Status view is
the sum of the Actual Work of the people assigned to the task.
