TMGR: Text Label Available Only on Summary or Task Graph Bars

Graph bars can have fields added to the left or right side. Date type bars can also show text inside of the bars. These options are disabled if the type of bar being modified is not either a Summary task or a Task bar. To alter graph bar properties do the following:

1. On the Format menu, click Graph Bars.
2. Select the bar you want to change.
3. Click Edit Bar.
4. Click OK when changes are complete.

The option to specify what rows a bar displays in is on the Value tab for Work type bars and on the Dates tab for Date type bars. On the respective tab is the Show bars in these rows grouping section. In this section are four options: Group Summary, Summary Task, Task, and People Assigned.
