If you try to send a second update for a time period you've already reported, this message is displayed:
You have already reported work before <date>. Any future work must be on or after this date.

If there was something you forgot to report, include it in your next update, or ask your manager to enter the information.
There is no way to modify an update and re-send it from Microsoft Team Manager for team members.

You're about to send actual work for <date>. You should double-check that these dates are right, and that you've entered all the work you've done, because you won't be able to send another update for this period.
