This article describes how to create an online book such that the chapters are stored in subfolders of the Content folder.
In a FrontPage Web, all documents are stored in a single directory, making file management more difficult for large documents such as online books. To create an online book with multiple subfolders, follow these steps:
1. Start FrontPage Explorer.
2. On the File menu, click New Web.
3. Select Empty Web from the list. In the "Choose a title for your
FrontPage Web box, type the name of your book.4. On the Tools menu, click Show FrontPage Editor. Perform the following steps:
a. On the File menu, click New.
b. Click the Page tab. Select Table of Contents from the list and click OK.
c. On the File menu, click Page Properties. In the Title box, type the
title you want to use, and click OK.
d. On the File menu, click Save.
e. In the Name box, type Index.htm and click OK.
5. Switch to FrontPage Explorer. On the File menu, point to New, and then
click Folder.6. After FrontPage Explorer creates the folder, the folder name will be
selected. Type the name you want to use for the chapter. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each chapter you want to add.7. When you create your content, save them in the appropriate chapter folder.
