Works 4.0: Area Code Characters Works Doesn't Understand

SYMPTOMS
When you enter a phone number in the Easy Connect dialog in the Works
Communications module, you may receive the following message:
The Area Code contains characters that Works doesn't understand.
The only option is to click OK, which will take you back to the Easy
Connect dialog.
RESOLUTION
To enter a valid area code in the Windows 95 Modems property sheet do the
following:
- Click Start, point to Settings, and click Control
Panel.
- Double click Modems.
- Click Dialing Properties.
- Type a valid area code in the The Area Code Is box.
- Click OK.
