TMGR: Outline Level of Inserted Tasks Same as the Task Above

SYMPTOMS

When you insert or paste tasks, the new tasks are inserted at the same outline level as the task above it. If you paste the task at the end of a summary task these new tasks become part of the summary.

WORKAROUND

If the tasks are not pasted or inserted at the desired outline level, do the following:

Select the Task tab.
Select the task or tasks you pasted or inserted.
On the View menu, click Outlining, and then click Outdent or Indent on the submenu.
Repeat Step 3 until you have the outline level you want.
