SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Excel version 7.0, when you call a function that exists in a
Dynamic Link Library (.dll) file, the speed at which Microsoft Excel 7.0
recalculates data is slower than it is in Microsoft Excel 5.0.
This behavior occurs when you call a function from a registered .dll file
and recalculate the values for formulas in the workbook.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem
and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it
becomes available.
MORE INFORMATION
