TMGR: Completed Task Can Still Cause Overloaded Task

Article ID: 151126

This article was previously published under Q151126

SUMMARY

If a task is causing its predecessor to be overloaded due to a constraint, and it is then changed to 100% Complete (the task finishes before its predecessor), the predecessor is still shown as overloaded.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.

MORE INFORMATION

In Microsoft Team Manager, simply marking a task as finished does not cause overloading caused by that task to go away. This is true even if the fact that the task is finished causes it to be done before the overloaded task starts.
