TMGR: Dragging Task Seems to Fail w/ Calculation Set to Manual

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Work Calendar on the Task tab and if calculation is set to manual, dragging a task from one date to another appears not to work.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because calculation is set to manual and the task is not being updated. Microsoft Team Manager does not recalculate calculated fields, such as Start and Finish, when calculation is set to manual.

WORKAROUND

To update the screen, press F9 or turn calculation back to automatic.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem product listed above. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
