Application Trap when Pass an Invalid Conversation ID to CPI-C

SYMPTOMS

If an invalid conversation ID is passed to the CPI-C library, an application exception will occur in the CPI-C library when it tries to use the conversation ID as an index into a non-existent control block.

CAUSE

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SNA Server versions 2.0, 2.1, 2.11, and 2.11.sp1. This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft SNA Server 2.11 U.S. Service Pack.
