SYMPTOMSIf you sign out of MSN, The Microsoft Network, after you change your password, and then try to sign back in using the new password, you may receive a message stating that your password is not valid.
CAUSEYour new password may not take effect immediately. Usually, password changes take effect within one or two minutes, but longer delays are possible.
RESOLUTIONWait a few more minutes and then sign in to MSN.
