Cache Timeout

You can set the timeout value (in days) after
which the local CDDB record of the CD information
is expired. Once expired, xmcd will perform a
lookup from the CDDB server again.

Setting the timeout to zero would force xmcd to
always do lookups from the CDDB server. If you
don't want the local record to expire, set the
timeout to a large value, such as 1800 (almost
5 years).

Note that for the Gracenote CDDB service, even if
a record is not expired, xmcd will still contact the
CDDB server and perform a server lookup if an
updated record is available. If you want to force
xmcd to use the local cache record (and not attempt
any Internet connections), select the "Internet
offline" button in the "CD Information / Program
Editor" window.
