SHARITY(1) Sharity User's Manual
NAME
sharity - interact with the Sharity daemon (sharityd).
LOCATION
%globaldir%/bin/sharity
SYNOPSIS
sharity <command> [<options>]
sharity -man
DESCRIPTION
This is the commandline interface to Sharity's functionality. You
must pass a command name as the first parameter. The options allowed
depend on the command. The following commands are currently
implemented:
mount -- Mount with arbitrary front- and backend modules
umount -- Unmount a given mountpoint
storemnt -- Store a mount or delete the stored information
list -- List internal status information
cifsmount -- Mount a CIFS file share
cifsumount -- Unmount a CIFS file share
cifslogin -- Login to a CIFS server
cifslogout -- Logout from a CIFS server
cifslist -- List internal CIFS status information
cifslicense -- Set license key or inspect license features
cifsstore -- Store a login or delete stored information
cifsstoremnt -- Store a CIFS mount or delete stored information
-v -- Display version information of all modules
-man -- Dislpay this manual page
The sharity executable calls a command automatically if it is issued
under the command's name. This can be achieved by creating a
symbolic link with the name of a command pointing to the sharity
executable. The default installation of Sharity creates such
shortcuts for all commands beginning with cifs.
For more information about a command, call
sharity <command> -man
Or, if the command has a shortcut, call
command -man
