Problem Description:

1233044 --> Patch 102351-01 Breaks Newsprint 2.2 on 4.1.4 SS10

Patch Installation Instructions:


As root:
                                
Make a backup copy of the files to be installed:

mv /sys/`arch -k`/OBJ/kern_sig.o /sys/`arch -k`/OBJ/kern_sig.o.FCS

Now install the patched files:

cp `arch -k`/kern_sig.o /sys/`arch -k`/OBJ

Run /etc/config <kernel-name> and make and install the new kernel.
