Incorrect ascii characters are displayed in the Telnet application window. Patch Installation Instructions: ATTENTION WINDOWS 95 users: --------------------------- DO NOT use the dos "rename" (ren) command to save the original TELNETW.EXE file. Doing so will result in your Win95 "Start" menu being linked to the wrong TELNET application executable file. Follow the instructions below carefully. --------------------------- This patch consists of one executable file: TELNETW.EXE. On the system where PCNFSpro 2.0 is installed, exit MS-Windows. In a Windows 95 environment, open a DOS box. Save the existing TELNETW.EXE file and replace it with the TELNETW.EXE supplied with this patch. Select the drive where PCNFSpro 2.0 is installed: C: Save the original TELNETW.EXE file: COPY \SOLARNET\TELNET\TELNETW.EXE \SOLARNET\TELNET\TELNETW.FCS Install the new TELNETW.EXE into the \SOLARNET\TELNET directory: COPY A:\TELNETW.EXE C:\SOLARNET\TELNET\TELNETW.EXE Restart MS-Windows. NOTE: All drive letter and directory name references are PCNFSpro defaults. If you have installed PCNFSpro or the patch file on a different drive, or in a different directory, substitute your drive and directory names in the example commands.
