Patch Installation Instructions: ** Please note that this is a point patch -- which means that this fix will not be carried forward to future versions of this modules (nfswnet.drv and nfswsupp.dll) or the product(PC-NFSpro). ****** This patch is packaged as a self-extracting compressed file (10550101.exe). The setup program backs up the original file(s). It then installs the new file(s) and a patch uninstall utility. To install, first logout and disconnect any connected network drives or printers -- this will unload the network driver -- *****this is very important otherwise the patch install will fail******. Then copy 10377702.exe to a temporary directory on the PC. In File Manager, select "Run" and enter the path and patch filename (Example: c:\temp\10377702.exe) then hit ENTER/RETURN. The patch will uncompress and start the setup program automatically. Follow the setup program prompts to complete the patch installation. After the installation add the PC-NFSpro network back and restart windows. Patch Removal Instructions: Click on the patch icon,"Patch 103777-02" and click on "uninstallSHIELD". Restart Windows. Operational Notes: This patch does not update the on-line help to reflect the changes made to the Properties dialog box. The permissions checkboxes are now tri-state. On multiple file selection, the permission checkboxes will be gray for any permissions that aren't the same for all selected files. Leaving the checkbox gray will not change the permission on any of the files. Clearing the checkbox will clear the permission for all selected files. Checking the checkbox will set the permission for all selected files. The Owner and Group boxes will be filled if all selected files have the same Owner and Group ID's. If the selected files have various owners and groups, the Owner or Group box will be left blank. Entering a UID or GID in the boxes will set all selected files to that UID or GID. Installation Notes: All drive letter and directory name references are PC-NFSpro 2.0 defaults. If you have installed PC-NFSpro on a different drive, or in a different directory, substitute your drive and directory names in the example commands above.
