TELNETW.EXE - Telnet application executable file

Problem Description:

1234296 - Under Windows 95 Telnet does not handle the Windows 95 compose
character sequence correctly. Incorrect ascii characters are
displayed in the Telnet application window.

Patch Installation Instructions:

 ATTENTION WINDOWS 95 users:
 ---------------------------
DO NOT use the dos "rename" (ren) command to save the original
TELNETW.EXE file. Doing so will result in your Win95 "Start" menu
being linked to the wrong TELNET application executable file. Follow
 the instructions below carefully.
 ---------------------------

This patch consists of one executable file: TELNETW.EXE. On the system
where PCNFSpro 2.0 is installed, exit MS-Windows. In a Windows 95
environment, open a DOS box. Save the existing TELNETW.EXE file and
replace it with the TELNETW.EXE supplied with this patch.

Select the drive where PCNFSpro 2.0 is installed:

   C:

 Save the original TELNETW.EXE file:

   COPY \SOLARNET\TELNET\TELNETW.EXE \SOLARNET\TELNET\TELNETW.FCS

Install the new TELNETW.EXE into the \SOLARNET\TELNET directory:

   COPY A:\TELNETW.EXE C:\SOLARNET\TELNET\TELNETW.EXE

 Restart MS-Windows.

 NOTE:
All drive letter and directory name references are PCNFSpro
defaults. If you have installed PCNFSpro or the patch file on
a different drive, or in a different directory, substitute your
drive and directory names in the example commands.
