Problem Description:

4009781 - The local IP address negotiated by PPP wasn't written anywhere.
Now it is written into PCNFSWIN.INI, in the [RemoteLinkMgr]
section. 'NegotiatedIpAddress' contains the dynamic IP address,
and 'SerialLinkIsUp' == "TRUE" if it is valid, "FALSE" otherwise.

4009795 - Prior to this patch, the Remote Link Manager left the serial link
up if the user exited without disconnecting, with a warning dialog
"Unable to receive 'Loss of Carrier' message". In this patch, the
user is prompted Ok/Cancel whether to disconnect by exiting.

4009800 - Prevent GPF when user edits modem type when the modem file
(NFSWMDM.INI) isn't present in the Windows directory.

Patch Installation Instructions:

This patch is packaged as a self-extracting compressed file (10420701.exe).
It must be installed from Windows or Windows95. The setup program backs
up the original file(s). It then installs the new file(s) and a patch
 uninstall utility.

To install, download 10420701.exe to a temporary directory on the PC.

In Windows95, select "Run" from the "Start" menu. Enter the path and
patch filename (Example: c:\temp\10420701) then select "OK".

In Windows 3.1x, select "Run" from the Program Manager "File" menu.
Enter the path and patch filename (Example: c:\temp\10420701) then
 select "OK".

The patch will uncompress and start the setup program automatically.
Follow the setup program prompts to complete the patch installation.

 Restart Windows or Windows95.
