<h1>Select Cluster Dialog</h1>

The Select Cluster dialog allows you to select which clusters/nodes to
monitor. You  can specify them  by cluster  name  or  by  specific node
names.  Also the cluster name or nodes names can be specified on the

    <a href="clustmon/command_line">command line</a>

at start-up time.<p>

To bring   up the Select  Cluster   dialog, select <b>File   >> Select
Cluster...</b> from the
    <a href="clustmon/front_panel">Front Panel's</a>
    <a href="clustmon/fp_menu_area">menu bar</a>.

<b>Specify by Cluster Name</b><p>

Choose  the  name    of   the  cluster to  be    monitored  using  the
<b>Cluster</b> option  menu.  The option  menu will display name(s) of
cluster(s) which are accessible from the workstation on which clustmon
is being executed. The node names belonging to  the chosen cluster will
be  displayed in the  push buttons in  the dialog and the cluster name
itself will be displayed in the <b>Cluster/Node Name:</b>field.  Click
on the <b>Add</b>  button.  This  action will   add  the name of   the
cluster to the list of clusters to be  monitored. Cluster names can be
deleted from this list by selecting the name in  the list box and then
pressing the  <b>Delete</b>    button. After adding the   names  of the
cluster(s) press <b>Done</b>.  The dialog pops  down automatically and
Cluster Monitor displays the

    <a href="clustmon/conn_status_dialog">Connection Status dialog</a>

while it   begins  connecting  to  the    individual  node(s) in   the
cluster(s).<p>

<b>Specify by Node Names</b><p>

Enter the name of the node in the  <b>Cluster/Node Name:</b> field and
press <b>Add</b>.   The   node name will  be  added  to  the  list  of
cluster/nodes which  need to be monitored.  Node  names can be deleted
from    this list by selecting      the node name   and pressing   the
<b>Delete</b> button.  After adding   the  names of   the nodes  to be
monitored press  <b>Done</b>, the dialog   pops down automatically and
Cluster Monitor displays the

    <a href="clustmon/conn_status_dialog">Connection Status dialog</a>

while it begins connecting to the nodes you specified. <p>

<b>Other controls on this dialog</b>

<ul>
Use    the  <b>TAB</b>  key  to  move  between  the    objects  in the
dialog. Pressing <b>Return</b>    key at any  time will  automatically
select the <b>Done</b> button.  <p>

<li> <b>Done</b> - Tells Cluster Monitor to begin monitoring the cluster
     or nodes you specified.
<li> <b>Cancel</b> - Cancels this operation and dismisses the dialog.
<li> <b>Help...</b> - Displays the Help topic for this dialog.
