Problem Description:

4214385 - NT 4.0 SP4 Task Manager dismounts NFS "home" directory specified
in user profile if it is NFS mounted. SNC will dismount any drive
when an application requests a duplicate NFS mount. Subsequent
 	   mount requests will fail.
4200704 - Solstice Network Client systems cannot browse Novell 2.12 NFS
           servers.
4168206 - SNC cannot change the NIS/NIS+ password on an NT system when password
synchronization and NT password aging are enabled and the NT password
           expires.
None - Wrong icon displayed in messagebox when SNC password change succeeds
           on NT system.

(from 106544-01)
4135723 - SNC appends ~1 to server name when drive is NFS mounted via
 	   an SNC script.

(from 106645-01)
4164411 - SNC displays "Please, enter a valid password." when you enter
           an invalid user name.

Patch Installation Instructions:

This patch is for Windows NT only.

This patch is packaged as a self-extracting compressed file (10780601.exe).
It must be installed from Windows NT. The setup program backs up the original
file(s). It then installs the new file(s) and a patch uninstall utility.

To install, download 10780601.exe to a temporary directory on the PC.

In Windows NT, select "Run" from the "Start" menu. Enter the path and
patch filename (Example: c:\temp\10780601.exe) then select "OK".

The patch will uncompress and start the setup program automatically.
Follow the setup program prompts to complete the patch installation.

 Restart Windows NT.

If you are running SNC scripts at authentication time, copy \Program
Files\Solstice\bin\sunwrun.exe to the \opt\MSPolicy directory on your
 authentication server.

Patch Removal Instructions:

In Windows NT, click "Start". Then select "Programs", "Patch 107806-01"
 and click on "uninstallSHIELD".

WARNING - The patch uninstall program restarts Windows NT at the end
           of the uninstall process.

Installation Notes:

All drive letter and directory name references are Solstice Network Client
defaults. If you have installed Solstice Network Client or the patch file on
a different drive, or in a different directory, substitute your
drive and directory names in the example commands above.
