Its configuration menu has 2 settings for communications: oneEF is called Normal (?) and the other PTP (Picture Transfer Protocol).  IG have plugged many a digital camera into my PowerBook and the camera ap-VG pears as a USB drive.  The only way to get files from the Canon EOS 20D9G is to set the communications mode to PTP and then I can import picutres;F using iPhoto.  I prefer to have the camera show up as a USB drive so IF can copy only pictures that I want.  iPhoto wants to suck the contentsG of the entire flash card (2GB but that is no were exhausted yet) to theG iPhoto photo library.
