Two disks.DOpenVMS VAX Software Product Library, "March 2000", 9 disks (all, ofcourse...).CNote: Two of the "Software Product Library" disks are marked "*KEEPME*". In the docs,	it says :H"Many products that have been shipped on the OpenVMS VAX SW Prod Lib aredueGto be retired, and will be removed from the June 2000 release. For yourconvenience,?we have placed these products on two CD-ROMs labeled "Keep Me".Customers who choseFto continue to use these products may wish to keep these discs as thisis the final3time the products will be inculded in the library".DAnd then there is a table containing these products. So, this is thelatest kit thatCincluded a number of (now retired) products, if I understand thingscorrectly...Ebay item no : 5735005613.=http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5735005613

Any other ideas out there?> Hi Michael,KWhen we originally setup Adv. Server here I also wanted to achieve the sameKthing. I put in a call to support and this was the reply to the question ofcan it be done...F"Nope. Microsoft SMB does an OPEN/TRUNCATE on a file so it's not up toCVMS. Also a deletion would delete all versions. There's no way fromFMicrosoft to specify just delete the last version. Strangley enough itFwas in version 4 of PATHWORKS but Microsoft change the security methodand that was the end of that."KTo get around this, we created a very basic checkout/checkin system for ourKsource code which copied the source to a "work" directory when checked out.HA read-write share is set up on that directory so that PC editors can beKused to modify the code if that is the developers preference. When the codeEis completed, it is checked back in to the source directory and a newJversion is created. Note that we also make a read-ionly share available onLthe source code directory so that the last version of the code can be viewedfrom the PC but not changed.LThis setup also ensures that all source files don't get accidentally deletedby some errant Windows program.Cheers,Chris------------------------------ Date: 28 Nov 2004 20:26:27 -0800 From: "Barry" <dysert@gmail.com>5Subject: Re: Online forums for former digits/deccies?CMessage-ID: <1101702387.906439.192950@f14g2000cwb.googlegroups.com>EThanks to the generosity of Decuserve, we have actually established aAread/write Notes conference for DEC alumni and their friends.
