Go to http://www.openvmshobbyist.com/ to find out Ahow to get licenses and media. The most basic free membership of FEncompass USA (DECUS) allows you to obtain free "hobby use" licenses. "We Gdisplaced a mainframe -- lots of mainframes as a matter of fact -- and Hwe provided better technical performance than the mainframe, at about a Gthird less cost," she said, according to a transcript of the speech on HP's Web site.?Although IBM claimed the timing of Thursday's announcement was Bcoincidental, HP is due to release its fiscal 2005 fourth-quarter "financial results on the same day.I"This is a watershed deal [for IBM]," Freund said. On a port with PASSALL? Should never happen. If you want toAdo flow control with XON/XOFF you should set the port to PASTHRU.DI'm not absolutely sure about the behavior of a /PASSALL port in theDface of typeahead buffer overrun. It is conceivable that the driverAstarts sending control-G (bell) characters out the port, one bell@for every incoming character. That is certainly what happens on1a NOPASSALL port when flow control is not active.FTurning off the typeahead buffer as suggested elsewhere seems like theappropriate fix.------------------------------ Date: 17 Nov 2005 14:47:12 +01006From: peter@langstoeger.at (Peter 'EPLAN' LANGSTOEGER)FSubject: Re: Video card Digital PCI ZLXp-L1 compatibility with OpenVMS,Message-ID: <437c97f0$1@news.langstoeger.at>YIn article <437c7dc2$1@usenet01.boi.hp.com>, "FredK" <fred.nospam@nospam.dec.com> writes:>Look.
