It supports HTML V4.0 (includingDtables and frames), animated GIFs, cookies, secure connections, etc.CIt does not support Java, JavaScript or style sheets. A C compileris required to build it.1The most significant changes in this release are:,1. Support for SSL certificate verification#2. Support for UTF-8 encoded ASCIID3. Improved 24-bit and alpha channel image processing. Even thoughC it is limited to 256 colors per image, Mosaic now does a fairly? decent job of dealing with complex image transparency. See1 http://libpng.org/pub/png/png-rgba32.html andF http://libpng.org/pub/png/pngs-img-bg.html for examples. LIST/NOHEADERGwhich would provide outpuit similar to DIR/NOHEAD that could be used as7input to a routine that could then process those files.Hof importance here would be the handling of installed files on partiallyEdismounted disks that won't fully dismount because of that file, evenEthough the disk is long gone. VMS enginersDshould make sure that VMS could run on a APPLE laptop and that would*make a hell of a cool looking solution :-)HPorting VMS to the 8086 would not only give it laptops, but also all theGlow and midrange workstation and server markets which it cannot competein at this point in time.DI think that one of the politically difficult things is that portingGHP-UX would be harder due to endianness issues, and if they ported onlyEVMS, it would make HP's flagship product look quite weak and alone onNthat dead end IA64 thing. At least now, HP-UX isn't alone on the sinking ship.FOn the other hand, when you consider that Apple is porting from big toFlittle endian platform and provides a pretty neat emulator on the 8086Hthat can run big-endian code, then HP should also be able to do the samewith HP-UX.------------------------------ Date: 16 Jan 2006 14:07:35 -0600;From: koehler@eisner.nospam.encompasserve.org (Bob Koehler)Subject: Re: LK4633Message-ID: <zvXd+1fNiNOY@eisner.encompasserve.org>BIn article <2H0yf.511$sq.96@trnddc01>, dittman@dittman.net writes:H> I just bought an LK463 and am working to create a new keyboard map forD> OS X.
