Multi-Column Lister

The Multi-Column Lister will copy an ASCII file into a file having multiple
columns, if possible. As many as nine columns will be written on one page
with a vertical line separating the columns unless a specific number of 
columns is requested through the /COLUMNS qualifier. The output file name
gets a default file type of .MCL if not otherwise specified. Imbedded
control character are acted on in the following manner: FF - skip to next
column or page, CR - start new line, LF - start new line unless
immediately following a CR, TAB - expand according to the /FTAB__EXPAND
qualifier. In a file written with Fortran carriage control the head of
form (1) and double space (0) will be recognized.

The output will contain n columns per page. The number requested must be
in the range 0 through 9. Lines which are too wide for the column will 
be wrapped or truncated according to the setting of the /WRAP qualifier.
The default of 0 columns produces an output which contains a number of
columns on each page determined by the line lengths of the input file. In
this case, wrap or truncation will occur if and only if an input line
exceeds the full width of a page.

If this qualifier is specified, tab characters in the input file will be
expanded according to the manner in which the Fortran compiler would
interpret them; otherwise, tab characters will be expanded to the standard

If this qualifier is specified, a line which exceeds the page width on the
output files will be continued on the following line. The continuation line
is flagged with the characters "-->". The qualifier /NOWRAP causes a long
line to be truncated on output.
