    I dont remember announcing this but if i did forgive me...
    sometimes i don't remember which coast i'm on....
    
    
    available on LJO server the early preview of the Next 
    Netscape Navigator with cooltalk/Insoft capabilities.

                    INTRODUCING ATLAS PREVIEW RELEASE 1

Welcome to the Atlas Preview Release 1. You can download Atlas for Windows
3.1, Windows 95, Windows NT, Macintosh, and Unix. This release is for LAN
customers only, not Personal Edition customers. Stay tuned for more
information about the upcoming Atlas Gold Preview Release.

TRY THESE FEATURES

   * Live3D (for Windows 32 only; other platforms are under construction) -
     Experience rich, interactive 3D scenes with this VRML viewer. Dragging
     the mouse within a 3D scene allows you to navigate through it.

   * Audio playback (for Windows 32 and Macintosh; Windows 16 is coming
     soon) - Play standard sound formats such as AIFF, AU, MIDI, and WAV
     embedded in HTML documents with the Audio Plug-in.

   * Video playback (for Windows 16 and Windows 32) - View AVI movies
     embedded in HTML documents with the Video Plug-in.

   * Internet Phone and Chat (for Windows 32 and Unix, including HP/UX,
     IRIX, OSF1, Solaris 2.3, 2.4, and SunOS; other platforms are under
     construction) - Use CoolTalk to collaborate with friends and colleagues
     by using the Internet as a phone. Speak to others, and they will hear
     you simultaneously. Use the Chat Tool and Shared Whiteboard for textual
     and graphical data conferencing. For detailed information and
     instructions, go to the Help menu in CoolTalk.

   * Java support - Run Java applets on the Macintosh platform (PowerPC
     version is available now; 68K version is coming soon), and on IBM AIX
     and BSDI platforms. Includes support for Western (Latin1) and Central
     European (Latin2) languages, as well as Japanese, Chinese, and Korean.

   * Mail and news options - View your mail and news in any three-pane
     configuration: stacked, horizontal, and vertical. Control the number of
     headers you use when viewing mail and news. The normal setting displays
     the primary address field, and the compressed setting displays the
     subject and recipient fields. View the name of the Recipient of your
     mail in the Sent Mail folder.

   * Table cell background colors - Create table cells with various
     background colors to highlight information. Use the BGCOLOR attribute
     to specify the background color in a table cell.

   * Enhanced frame navigation - Within a frame, clicking the Back button
     takes you to the previous state of the frame, and clicking the Forward
     button revisits the frame ahead.

   * Macintosh enhancements - ToolTips provide instant help, plus there's
     support for Native Open Transport and Internet Config.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
System requirements for Atlas are the same as for Netscape Navigator 2.0. If
you want to use CoolTalk, however, you will also need a sound card,
microphone, and speaker.

STANDARD AND MINIMUM OPTIONS

   * Standard version: On most platforms, the Standard version includes
     Live3D, CoolTalk, and Audio and Video Plug-ins.

   * Minimum version: The Minimum version contains a basic version of the
     program, without Live 3D, CoolTalk, or Audio and Video Plug-ins.
