Registration
============

Win a Free Bermuda Vacation for Two

To qualify for the drawing you must register by the postmark deadline of April 
6, 1994.  Register for DECUS '94/New Orleans by the prize deadline and you will 
be entered into the drawing once.  Register and book your travel on Delta 
Airlines using file number G1110 by the prize deadline and you will be entered 
into the drawing three times.

Accommodations - 
 7 nights at the Hamiltonian Hotel (Saturday-Saturday), 
 1 bedroom suite with ocean view (subject to availability)
 Package includes air fare, transfers, hotel, taxes and gratuities
 Good through May 12, 1995

Early-Bird Registration Deadline

In order to take advantage of the Early-Bird Registration, registrations
must be postmarked by April 20, 1994.


Travel Options
==============

Delta Airlines is offering special negotiated fares which afford a substantial 
savings to your meeting.  For more information call Delta at 1-800-241-6760.  
Refer to file number G1110.

All air reservations ticketed for travel on Delta are automatically registered 
for a drawing to win two Delta Airlines tickets for travel anywhere in the 
continental U.S.  The winner will be chosen and announced at DECUS '94/New 
Orleans.

Horizons Unlimited is sponsoring a drawing for a $200 American Express 
Travelers Check for attendees who make their DECUS '94/New Orleans travel 
reservations through Horizons by April 6, 1994. To participate call 
1-800-642-6507 and ask for the EARLY-BIRD SPECIAL.  Be sure to use Delta File 
Number G1110 to receive the DECUS negotiated discount fare.

The $200 American Express drawing will be April 29, 1994.  Horizons Unlimited 
will notify the winner.

Services Information
====================

Terminal Farm
-------------
User terminals will be available to DECUS '94/New Orleans attendees.  All you 
will need is a major credit card and you can 'phone home'. Internet access is 
also available.  The terminal farm, located in the convention center, opens 
Monday and is up and running 24 hours a day.

Food & Beverage Breaks
----------------------
Lunch is included with seminar and symposium registration fees, as are the 
beverage breaks that are scheduled in the morning and afternoon.  Breakfast 
items will be available for purchase from vendors in the convention center.

Shuttle Buses
-------------
Shuttle buses run daily from early in the morning through the evening, until 
sessions end and campgrounds close.  Bus schedules are published on site and 
accommodate those attendees staying at DECUS-contracted hotels listed on the 
housing form.

A shuttle van is available for those who have a need for mobility assistance.  
If assistance is required, please make a request with a member of the busing 
staff.

Audio Tapes
-----------
They're back! Due to your response, DECUS once again presents audio tapes of 
many of the week's presentations.  Tapes are available for purchase at the 
convention center.  Watch for more information on site.

Meeting Program
---------------
The meeting program, which contains session abstracts, is available at the 
Registration Area in New Orleans. 

To receive a Sessions-At-A-Glance, a daily listing of session titles and 
locations, contact the DECUS office at 1-800-DECUS55.

Package Service
---------------
For your convenience, DECUS provides a package checking service available to 
attendees for a nominal fee. A package shipping service is also available at 
the convention center.

DECUS Store
-----------
Pens, notebooks, and assorted supplies, along with a number of DECUS logo 
and novelty items, are available for purchase at the convention center.

DECUS is in compliance with the American Disabilities Act.  If you have

Other Activities
================

Reception & Suite Nights
------------------------
A welcoming reception is held on Sunday evening, May 8, in the Grand Ballroom 
of the New Orleans Hilton Riverside and Towers Hotel from 8:30 P.M. to 
10:00 P.M.

Several of the vendors participating in the Trade Show sponsor open suites on 
Wednesday evening, May 11.  Suites are located in the Hilton and Marriott 
hotels.

Campgrounds
-----------
A campground is the place where you can meet technical experts and peers in an 
informal setting.  Do you have a question on a specific program or problem?  
Do you want to see if there are other people who share your computer 
interests?  Do you need some advice in planning you week's schedule?  
Stop by and let us help.

Transfers/Cancellation Policy
=============================

If you are pre-registered and unable to attend, a substitution can be made 
via phone until May 4, 1994 by calling the DECUS office at 1-800-DECUS55 
(FAX to 508-841-3373, TTY 508-841-2222).  After that date, all transfers 
must take place ON SITE in the Registration Area.  The person substituting 
for you must present a signed statement from you.

Cancellations of any portion of this event prior to May 4, 1994 are subject 
to $100.00 cancellation charge.  No refunds will be issued after this date.  
To cancel call 1-800-DECUS55. (TTY access: 508-841-2222.) Make sure you 
receive a cancellation number when the transaction is completed.  All 
unpaid balances are subject to collection.
