I agree the message does seem somewhat abusive; however, I would like to
gain a better understanding of when I should post and what I should say.
Our company has two customers who are using this tool under VMS in the
following way. The customer is using a PC with ethernet to download the
files from VMS. Next they are preprocessing and creating an instrumented
form of their application in order to test the application. Then they
are compiling the instrumented application and performing test coverage
analysis as a batch process. Finally they are reading the test coverage
execution results back into their VisionSoft PC database and generating
reports about test coverage results, statistics, complexity etc.

An abusive form of VMS support; but, it works! However, I agree you are
right, I will not post to the VMS group until I have support for ULTRIX
on the workstation.

regards,

                                             jfk@netcom.com
