Resources International (SRI) has developed, owns and sells CHARON-11,
the PDP-11 system emulator that runs as a software application
on a host system like Windows NT. While CHARON-11 replaces
your PDP-11 hardware, you can use the original PDP-11 operating
systems
and applications without any change. CHARON-11
creates a complete 'virtual PDP-11' for you, running up to 10

CHARON-11
is specially designed to replace complex industrial control systems
with special hardware attached. You

to its speed (a typical system boots in less than one minute),
CHARON-11 provides a very fast PDP-11 software development
environment, which you can run on a laptop computer.
