1   Overview

1.1   Description

The alarm is raised when a specific Tablespace in the Processing Layer Database (PLDB) Storage Engine becomes full.

The alarm attributes are listed and explained in Table 1:

Alarm Model Description	Out of Tablespace, Storage Engine.
Alarm Active Description	Storage Engine (PLDB): Tablespace <TSN> has run out of available space for additional storage.

ITU Alarm Probable Cause	outOfMemory (162)
ITU Alarm Perceived Severity	(4) – Major
Originating Source IP	Node ID where the alarm was raised.
Sequence Number	Number which indicates the order in which alarms were raised.

In Table 1, the indicated variables are as follows:

• <TSI> is an identifier for the Tablespace: the Tablespace Name in a dot-separated, ASCII-encoded, character-per-character format.
• <TSN> is the Tablespace name.

The possible causes of the alarm are as follows:

• PLDB in CUDB node use of Tablespace has reached the maximum size.

2   Procedure

Perform the following steps:

1. Alter the Tablespace <TSN> to add more data files. To do this, use the cudbDbDiskManage command. For more information about this command refer to CUDB Node Commands and Parameters, Reference [3].
2. If the alarm does not cease, consult the next level of maintenance support. Further actions are outside the scope of this Operating Instruction.
