1   Introduction

This instruction concerns alarm handling for the Control, Blackboard Coordination Cluster Down alarm.

1.1   Alarm Description

This alarm is raised when a Blackboard Coordination (BC) cluster is down.

The possible alarm causes and the corresponding fault reasons, fault locations and impacts are described in Table 1.

  • BC servers.

  • CUDB node(s) hosting BC servers.

  • Blades or VMs hosting BC servers.

Unavailable BC cluster.

The alarm attributes are listed and explained in Table 2.

2   Procedure

Do the following:

  1. Several alarms Control, Blackboard Coordination Server Down have not been cleared. Refer to Control, Blackboard Coordination Server Down, Reference [3], on how to proceed for every single alarm.
  2. One or more Control, Remote Node Unreachable alarms have not been cleared. Refer to Control, Remote Node Unreachable, Reference [4], on how to proceed for every single alarm.
  3. If the alarm does not cease, consult the next level of maintenance support. Further actions are outside the scope of this Operating Instruction.
